Fettes College War Memorial dedication ceremony

Today is of course the 11th day of the 11th month - Remembrance Day. We were asked by Fettes College to take part in filming the dedication ceremony for the addenda plaques to their war memorial.

A number of names had not been included when the original war memorial was dedicated exactly 100 years ago, whether because the person succumbed to wounds after the war, or simple error, or for other reason. Likewise names were missing from deaths in the second world war and those who had succumbed in conflict since then. 

Our work brings with it the privilege of taking part in special moments that one might not otherwise see, and it was quite an emotional moment for everyone there to witness the care taken to remember.
