Commission to shoot portraits of Scottish clan chiefs for this weekend’s Telegraph Magazine

This Saturday’s Telegraph Magazine has done a splendid double page spread of Simon (Cro)’s portraits of clan chiefs George MacMillan and Hugh MacLeod of MacLeod.

Also below are a few alternative versions of the portraits. The ones chosen work really well as a layout, we were delighted with the way they were used. Probably our favourite individual image of Hugh MacLeod is the surreal one on the roof of Dunvegan Castle with his partner Lucy reminding us of Botticelli with her hair blowing in the wind. And George MacMillan was also portrayed alongside the piles of wood that he had chopped. George has lost his sight, so has also lost a finger or two while pursuing his wood-chopping hobby.

What do you reckon?
