Film to celebrate 21st anniversary of Thomson Gray
We were asked to make a short film celebrating 21st anniversary of one of the most interesting businesses in Scotland - Thomson Gray Construction Consultants. You may or may not know exactly what it means to be working on construction projects but you’ve certainly seen their work: The Royal Yacht Britannia Visitor Experience, Greyfriars Charteris Centre, the Ross Fountain, Winchburgh development, The Scottish Whisky Experience on the Royal Mile, and the Western General to name just a few.
We interviewed members of the team - from founders to interns, we filmed at the most prestigious projects locations, learnt A LOT about what it means to be working with heritage sites in Scotland (some members of the team deserve their own podcasts!), were given access to some pretty special locations. The film was presented to a group of company’s collaborators and clients at their anniversary event in Edinburgh and now you can see it on TG’s YouTube Channel, website and socials.
It was a pleasure to work on this with not only TG’s team (a shoutout to Ros who coordinated it all impeccably with the team’s busy timetables) but also with Gail Turpin who designed the site, accompanying printed materials and the new company logo and Astrid from Ast+Red who made it all happening on line and was a source of invaluable insights into the industry. (And also all the behind the scenes photos of us at work!)
